The front of the packaging box is printed with product brand jmto, cable appearance diagram, thunderbolt  4, 0.8M, 40Gbps, 100W, 8K and other selling points, which are simple and outstanding.

The JMTO thunderbolt 4 cable adopts the classic black color, compared with the white line is more resistant to dirt, long-term use does not affect the look and feel. It's also the mainstream 0.8-meter length, but for digital geeks, there's an instant 2-meter option. Cable adopts coaxial line design, overall soft feel good.

There is a shallow word 100W on the wire, indicating that this data wire supports 100W PD fast charge.

The whole body of the wire has no burrs and good workmanship. The skin is made of environment-friendly TPE material, with skin-friendly feel and good hand-handling experience.

For the test cable speeds, we used an Achasis USB4 hard drive case, a Samsung 970EVO solid-state drive, and an Apple MacBook Pro 16 2021 M1 Max. Using Disk Speed Test, the write speed is about 1464.1MB/s, and the read speed is about 2747.1MB/s. In the test scenario of external hard disk box, it meets the data transmission speed standard of thunderbolt  4.

Firstly, a cutting machine is used to cut the plastic shell of the wire end. The plug is fixed on the USB-C plug by spot welding of steel sleeve for encapsulation and protection. Double-sided welding provides strong protection, solid and durable.

Continue to cut the rubber protective wire at the end of the wire, and extend the steel sleeve to tie the end of the wire to prevent loose.

The steel sheath wire is also fixed by spot welding, which is not easy to loosen, but it also causes great difficulties to disassemble.

Use a cutting machine to cut the steel sleeve and bundle wire, and remove the outer protective steel sleeve. The end of the cable is injected and filled into a whole, and fixed firmly.

Front close-up of PCB. The cables are welded through the positioning plate, and the solder joints are covered with glue. Among them, thunderbolt 4 data line is coaxial line, and the red core in the middle of the two groups of coaxial lines is a positive power line core. E-Marker chip is not welded and is on the other terminal head.

Weld the coaxial line and USB2.0 data cable on the back, and disassemble the terminal on the other side.

The terminal on the other side is welded with E-Marker chip and covered with glue.
When cleaning the glue on E-Marker chip, the silk screen layer on the chip surface was removed by glue, and the chip information was not known.

Remove the metal case of the USB-C male head to expose the internal pins.

The pin connection is gilded, which is not easy to oxidize and more resistant to insertion and removal.

Attached is a USB-C 24PIN simple instructions, immediately this thunderbolt 4 wire belongs to the second type.

The attached thunderbolt 4 wire related pin function definition table, convenient for everyone to understand.
After disassembling the terminals, let's disassemble the cables.

Line body truncated cross section, the internal is 16 small core, outer data line with coaxial line design.

Cut the skin, and underneath is a braided screen.

The outer layer of the wire core is wrapped with a layer of plastic skin protection.

Open the plastic cover, inside is the wire core of the cable. The wire core is wrapped in plastic leather.

All core at a glance, the outer layer is used for high-speed signal transmission coaxia

Part of the wire is taken apart as a whole, including TPE plastic skin, metal shielding net, plastic protective layer, coaxial data line core and power transmission line core.

The red positive wire core, USB2.0 shielded wire, and cotton wire form the inner core of the cable.

That is all.
